At the age of 39, Dot made the team again in 2000 and for the first time her in career, she was asked to change positions- from short stop to second base. Physically and psychologically, the change was a challenge, but one that Dot took in stride. “I have dominated this sport as a shortstop for 20 years, but I would like to say that, hopefully, I’ve been a dominating force in this sport not just as a shortstop – but also as a team player,” she said, shortly before the competition began. Cat Osterman
Catherine Leigh "Cat" Osterman born April 16, 1983 (1983-04-16) (age 27), is an American athlete and was one of the pitchers on the USA Women's Softball Team which won the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and the silver medal in the 2008 Summer Olympics. She started playing softball in first grade before quitting to play soccer and basketball. Cat found her way back to the diamond in fifth grade, when she was filling in as a backup pitcher for a little league team. She completed her collegiate eligibility in 2006 at the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a starting pitcher for the Longhorns since 2002.Natasha Watley
All softball fans should know who is Natasha Watley. Natasha Watley is currently one of the hottest softball players with USA Softball Women’s National Team.Born in year 1981, Natasha’s talent in softball was already very prominent during her schooling days. She later was selected to part of the USA Softball team which made her the first African-American to do so.
