New Zealand Rugby Open World Cup 2011 News and Nice Pics

Claudelands will be a temporary campervan park for Rugby World Cup 2011 visitors. Hamilton City Council Event Facilities Manager Mark Christie said the temporary facility will be set up adjacent to The Grandstand, and cater for up to 300 campervans.

It will be open from 9am on 15 September to 4 pm on 19 September, coinciding with the New Zealand vs Japan and Wales vs Samoa matches at Waikato Stadium. It will reopen from 9am on 1 October to 4pm on 3 October, for the Wales vs Fiji match.

Campervans must show a self-containment certificate, as there will be no on-site power connections or showers. A small number of toilets, and limited water and power will be available in The Grandstand. There will be no cooking facilities. A dump station and recycling facilities will be provided, and there will be 24-hour security. Alcohol is permitted within the confines of vehicles, but guests are asked to behave responsibly.

“It’s great Rugby World Cup 2011 fans travelling in campervans can park so close to Waikato Stadium and the Fanzone. That will enable them to really enjoy what Hamilton has to offer without worrying about having to re-park their vehicles in the CBD or near the stadium,” said Councillor Peter Bos, Hamilton’s Rugby World Cup 2011 ambassador.

“Walking with your Rugby-mad friends through the city will only enhance your great Hamilton experience.”

Visitors using the Claudelands campervan park during Rugby World Cup 2011 are encouraged walk to Waikato Stadium, approximately 20 minutes away.

Tom Brady was born on August 3, 1977 in San Mateo, California. He attended Junipero Serra High School, the same high school which produced Barry Bonds of the SF Giants. He attended the University of Michigan from 1995 to 1999. He was a backup to Brian Griese when the Wolverines went 12-0 and won the national championship in 1997. Brady shared the starting quarterback job with Drew Henson in 1998 and 1999, but managed to compile a 20-5 record over those two years, including a 2-0 record in bowl games. The New England Patriots made him a sixth round draft choice in 2000, the 199th player selected overall in the draft. He spent 2000 as a fourth string quarterback behind Drew Bledsoe, John Friesz and Michael Bishop. In 2001, Brady was elevated to second string quarterback behind Bledsoe as training camp broke. The fortunes for both Brady and the Patriots changed forever on September 23, 2001, as Bledsoe was hit hard by New York Jet linebacker "Mo Lewis", suffering a near life-threatening injury. Brady replaced Bledsoe in the contest, and has started every Patriot game at quarterback since. Bledsoe was never able to regain his starting job, as Brady led the Patriots on an 11-3 run to close the 2001 regular season, then led the Patriots through the playoffs and an improbable 20-17 win over the St. Louis Rams, a 14-point favorite, in Super Bowl XXXVI. After an ordinary 2002 season, Brady skippered the Patriots to one of the greatest seasons in NFL history in 2003. The Patriots began the season 2-2, then won every remaining regular season and playoff game, capped off by a 32-29 win over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl XXXVIII. Brady followed that up with a second consecutive Super Bowl appearance in 2004, as the Patriots once again went 14-2 in the regular season and defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, 24-21 in Super Bowl XXXIX. Brady is 9-0 all-time in the playoffs in his career following Super Bowl XXXIX. In the first two Super Bowls he has played in, Brady was named the Super Bowl MVP, becoming one of only four players in NFL history to win this award more than once. Brady is 48-14 as a starting Patriot quarterback going into the 2005 season. His poise as well as his penchant for playing with incredible cool and precision in big games is drawing comparisons with the great Joe Montana, former SF 49ers quarterback

Cam Newton Tigers Of NFL 2011

Cameron "Cam" Jerrell Newton (born May 11, 1989 in College Park, Georgia) is an American football quarterback for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He was drafted as the first overall pick by the Panthers in the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football for the Auburn Tigers. Newton is the son of Cecil Newton, Sr., who played strong safety for two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and the younger brother of Cecil Newton, Jr., a center for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL.

Newton was initially a member of the Florida Gators before transferring to Blinn College, where his team won a national junior college football championship. Newton was then recruited by head coach Gene Chizik of Auburn University and transferred once more. He became just the third player in major college football history to both rush and pass for 20 or more touchdowns in a single season. His performance earned him the Heisman Trophy as the most outstanding college football player, despite a major controversy concerning his eligibility that embroiled the second half of the season, and led Auburn to their second national championship in school history.

So I think there will be another opportunity to win a premiership next year with the Broncos, although there were plenty of times in 2010 where I thought we were capable of winning the title.
We were second favourites to win the premiership after we beat the Dragons at home and that performance gave me confidence we could go all the way but in the end it just didn't work out for us.
In 2011, we will have two recruits, Greg Inglis and Ben Hannant, and a fit Justin Hodges, who would be virtually a third.
